Sometimes it’s seen that some problems have high-tech solutions, but if carefully thought upon, they have simple, cheap and no-brainer solutions too.

This is true about everything in life, including your car, whether you’ve bought a local car or have bought from an expert import American cars to Australia.

Are you upset because you have a car but are not a car expert, and so, cannot find solutions to the problems it gets affected with from time to time?

You’ll be glad to know that most of your car problems have solutions that you can find in your home and neither do you need to break the bank to get them nor do you need great technical knowledge to apply them.

Here are some such simple hacks that will come in handy for you whenever your car faces a trouble.

1. Transparent Nail Polish

Transparent nail polish is an easy remedy for shallow scratches and chips on glass.  It also protects the bare metal underneath from corrosion.

2. Warm Water and Newspaper

If you think your car is looking shabby with those old bumper stickers, rego or parking stickers, and are not being able to eliminate them, don’t worry.

Soak some newspaper in warm water and put it over the sticker. Allow it to sit for a while. As the water will slowly soak in, the sticker will fall off by itself.

If still there is a residue left, try a dilute solution of vinegar and water and clean the residue with it.

3. Toothpaste

If your car’s headlights have become cloudy making it difficult for you to have enough light on the road in front, take toothpaste on a toothbrush and work on the headlights lenses. They’ll be sparkling clean.

4. Floor Mats

Floor mats can be very useful when your car is stuck. Stick them below the tyres and they will create enough traction to pull your car out.

5. Pool Noodles

Pool noodles can work for you as a paintwork saver.

If you hit your garage wall every time with your car while entering, attach the pool noodles to the sides of your garage and your car will hit them and your paintwork will be saved.

6. Toilet Plungers

Some types of dents in your cars can be rectified with a toilet plunger. If that doesn’t work, consider applying heat gently with a hair dryer.

7. Trash Can

If like most other car owners, you too are habituated to eat in your car, it’s relieving to have a trash bin nearby.

8. Mesh Bungee Nets
